Shaun the sheep : the beast of mossy bottom
October 11 @ 3:00 pm – 6:00 pm
October is Dysautonomia Awareness month. To mark the occasion we are hosting a fundraiser to support the excellent work of the Australian POTS Foundation (APF). Our son became very unwell early last year and was eventually diagnosed with Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS) thanks to a clever GP with personal insight on the condition. We were lucky to have an early diagnosis unlike many people living with POTS.
Our son’s world has changed dramatically since, everyday activities become impossible tasks. It is a tough, isolating, invisible condition that varies from day to day and affects many people. The Australian POTS Foundation does wonderful work in research, advocacy, education and we have found them to be a source of great knowledge. They need more funds to build on the research, find new and more effective treatments and to continue to raise awareness and expertise in the medical community.
We’d love to see you at the movie for a laugh and to raise funds for an excellent cause.
Or if you aren’t able to make it to the movie but would like to the support the great work of the Australian POTS Foundation please consider a donation on our GoFundMe page: https://gofund.me/b430bab21
Please bring a printed copy of your ticket on the day to give to the cinema.
Thank you!
