See a Movie
All you need is a minimum of 10 people to start saving on your next movie outing! Whether it’s a Social Club, School, Sporting Club, Probus Club or a bunch of mates, you pay only $10 per ticket. That’s a saving of over 40% on our standard adult ticket price. Why not upgrade everyone to a great value package and receive a ticket, soft drink and a choice of a Golden North Giant Twin or small popcorn for only $17! Better yet, make that a glass of wine and your choice of a Golden North Giant Twin or a small popcorn for only $19. If you’d prefer to keep all of the savings for yourself, you can buy a book of 10 tickets for $100 from the ticket box and use them whenever you want.
Gaming Session

We have set aside the mornings at the weekends for gaming on the big screen. You can book in a 2 hour session, bring in your gaming console (as long as it has an HDMI connection) and let a rip. The cost is $150 and gives you access to the stalls section of the cinema only. This is a great idea for little kids birthdays or big kids with an obsession. We usually recommend to keep the numbers relatively low as nobody really likes to share when it comes to gaming. If you have a few people, choosing games where you can run competitions in rounds gives everyone a fair go. We’ll have the candy bar open for all your snack requirements. We also have candy bar packages available too, which can be a good option for groups. You can certainly bring in a cake for a birthday, but we do ask that all other snacks are purchased from our candy bar.
Take a Tour
Book a group in for morning tea and a tour of the grand old Capri with a demonstration on the organ. The Capri is a beautiful heritage listed building that houses a mighty WurliTzer pipe organ with a fascinating history. Why not book a group tour of the building and a demonstration of this majestic musical instrument. Find out what makes its installation unique in the world. Book your tour now to find out about the history of The Capri from its early days as the New Goodwood Star Theatre with its Art Deco styling, through to the installation of the organ and the more recent restoration back to its original 1941 grandeur. Throughout the tour you will also hear about the history of cinema in Adelaide and the how the cinema-going experience differed back then, as well as the history of the theatre pipe organ, where it came from and how it works, followed by a demonstration from one of our talented volunteers.
