Morning Memories – Love Lives Forever

The final Morning Memories show  for 2024, Love Lives Forever, promises to bring to our Capri Theatre audiences a delightful and varied program of beautiful music.

The program has been curated by music specialist Anne ApThomas who will bring her particular skills to the concert playing the grand piano and harp. Anne will be joined onstage for musical duets with Jenni Burton at the  Wurlitzer Organ, with old favorites like Don’t Sit Under The Apple Tree and Makin’ Whoopi, made famous by Eddie Cantor.

John Slater will also perform on the Mighty Wurlitzer with his own selection of love songs.

Violinist Jocelyn Nguyen will play several duets with Anne accompanying her on piano and harp.

Then to add more variety to the show, octogenarians Richie Gun and John Aue will perform several popular melodies, including Love Walked Right In on piano and double bass.

The morning concert will be rounded off with more love songs, this time coming from the Ukrainian singing group, Le Leky Ensemble.

Love will certainly be in the air for this special event.
