Audiences old and new will thrill at every adventure, share a heartfelt laugh, and enjoy the infectious charm of Mick Dundee, in the encore of Australia’s most iconic film ever.
Before the movie we’ll be joined by Delvene Delaney and Victoria Baldock for a chat on stage with Leith Forrest from 5AA.
Delvene Delaney, a beloved Australian TV personality and model, starred on The Paul Hogan Show for nine years and co-hosted Sale of the Century. She later joined her husband, Crocodile Dundee producer John Cornell, as crew on Crocodile Dundee II and now leads Rimfire Films. Together with Victoria Baldock, an experienced media executive specialising in international content licensing, she spearheaded the global distribution revival and 4K restoration of Crocodile Dundee. Their deep dive into archives uncovered rare behind-the-scenes material, inspiring them to create Love of an Icon: The Legend of Crocodile Dundee, a documentary celebrating the film’s legacy.
Fun fact: by some twist of fate, Crocodile Dundee opened in Adelaide exclusively at the Capri and the Regent. We broke the box office record for takings in Australia for a suburban cinema AND made enough money to pay our mortgage off 12 years early!
