Before you settle in for an afternoon of Andre on the screen, we have a live musical treat for you in the form of violin virtuoso, Abdul Nanou.
Abdul is a professional and award winning violin player with over 25 years of experience in famous theatres in the Middle East. More recently he’s been studying at the University of Adelaide, Elder Conservatorium since moving here from Dubai 3 years ago, with mentor, the one and only, Elizabeth Layton.
After Abdul, ‘The King of Waltz’ performs his annual hometown summer concerts against the beautiful medieval backdrop of the town square, with his famous Johann Strauss Orchestra, sopranos, tenors and very special guests. These concerts are André’s most popular, both live and in cinemas and his 2018 Maastricht Concert: Amore – My Tribute to Love, may be his most romantic and spectacular concert ever to screen in cinemas!
