This Christmas, we’re leaving Kevin Home Alone…and inviting everyone else to the Capri!
Join us on Sunday 13 December for a festive edition of our Kids’ Nostalgia series, featuring the Christmas classic that taught an entire generation never to underestimate an eight-year-old with a blowtorch, a paint tin and far too much time on his hands.
When Kevin McCallister is accidentally left behind while his family flies off for Christmas, he initially thinks his wish has come true: no parents, no siblings and all the ice cream he can eat. But when two spectacularly incompetent burglars target the McCallister home, Kevin turns it into the most dangerously decorated house in the neighbourhood.
Before Home Alone, we’ll screen a classic cartoon and a short silent comedy accompanied live by John Slater on the mighty WurliTzer theatre organ—complete with musical mayhem, perfectly timed to the action on screen.
It’s a wonderfully nostalgic Christmas outing for kids, parents and grown-ups who still wince whenever they see someone step on a nail.
