SUMMARY:Claire Baker & Rosanne Hosking - Theatre Organ Concert
DESCRIPTION:August the 22nd is a concert not to miss\, showcasing Claire Baker and Rosanne Hosking. \nFun; exciting; sometimes serious; – but Always Entertaining.\nAnd that’s just both of them ! \nClaire Baker was one of the very small number of organists invited by the City of Adelaide to perform in the Adelaide Town Hall\, as part of the ‘Organ Concert Series’\, last year. When there were no live audiences\, Claire was seen by thousands on electronic media. Claire’s last concert at the Capri with the Band of the South Australian Police was absolutely jam packed. She is clearly versatile\, and her performances at the Capri on New Year’s Eve with Peter Goers and Anne Wills\, have been a staple for more than a decade. \nRosie Hosking has performed to more than 25\,000 at the Adelaide Oval\, and regularly features at the Adelaide Entertainment Centre and Convention Centre. Rosie’s achievements include the “Phantom of the Opera”\, “The Magic Flute” with the State Opera\, but her career achievements are too long to list. She is a true world class professional and not to be missed.

SUMMARY:Exhibition on Screen - Cézanne: Portraits of a Life
DESCRIPTION:Exhibition on Screen is thrilled to bring back one of its most successful films ever\, offering a unique and fascinating exploration of the life and times of Paul Cézanne. \nOne cannot appreciate 20th-century art without understanding the significance and genius of Paul Cézanne. \nFilmed on location at the National Portrait Gallery London\, National Gallery of Art Washington\, and Musée d’Orsay Paris\, this film features interviews with curators and experts\, and correspondence from the artist himself\, taking us beyond Cézanne’s portraits to the places he lived and worked\, and sheds light on an artist who is perhaps the least known of all the impressionists – until now.

SUMMARY:Exhibition on Screen - Leonardo da Vinci
DESCRIPTION:Marking the 500th anniversary of Leonardo’s death \nLeonardo da Vinci is acclaimed as the world’s favourite artist. Many TV shows and feature films have showcased this extraordinary genius but often not examined closely enough is the most crucial element of all: his art. Leonardo’s peerless paintings and drawings will be the focus of Leonardo: The Works\, as EXHIBITION ON SCREEN presents every single attributed painting\, in Ultra HD quality\, never seen before on the big screen. Key works include The Mona Lisa\, The Last Supper\, Lady with an Ermine\, Ginevra de’ Benci\, Madonna Litta\, Virgin of the Rocks\, and more than a dozen others. \nThis film also looks afresh at Leonardo’s life – his inventiveness\, his sculptural skills\, his military foresight and his ability to navigate the treacherous politics of the day – through the prism of his art. To be released on the 500th anniversary of his death\, this is the definitive film about Leonardo: the first to truly tell the whole story.
