DESCRIPTION:Doors open 7pm. \n\n\n\nPerforming live for the first time\, Avalon Kane will perform tracks from her latest releases Solace and Dissension. \n\n\n\nAn immersive\, visual display directed by Conor Mercury and shot by Bryce Kraehenbuehl will accompany the performance highlighting the connection that Kane brings between the visual and sonic components of her work.All seating is GA. You will be able to choose your own seating once at the venue from what is available on the night. There are no set seats. No allocated tickets. \n\n\n\nAvalon Kane is an Avant-Garde electronic artist based in Kaurna county – Adelaide Australia.With the dark melancholic influences of Nick Cave and the ambiguous resonance of Enya\, Avalon has etched her own unique niche in the electronic world with her curated blend of mysterious electronica. \n\n\n\nSelf taught on the synth\, with a guitar background\, her sounds explore the range of electronic genres from ambient\, trip hop\, downtempo\, chill\, minimal techno to experimental. Largely influenced by rock and grunge music\, Kane combines the 2 worlds to create her own curated blend of electronic grit and loves to delve into modulating and warping a large range of sound effects into beats and melodies. Constantly creating\, Kane is a prolific songwriter and musician. In the last 5 years she has released 4 albums and 24 singles. Her first physical vinyls were released this year to celebrate the release of her 4th album Dissension.
